Should Carnival Cruise Line Be Ditching Adult Only Aft Pools?

If you follow the cruise industry closely then no doubt you’ve spotted the news about Carnival Cruise Line ditching its adult only pool on several ships.

The news first came to light by the cruise line’s brand ambassador John Heald. He posted on his Facebook page that the aft adults only pool on several ships are now family friendly. This means anyone can use the pool at the back of the ship including those noisy and splashy kids! We love kids but now adults won’t have a place to relax and have some peace and quite when in the pool.

The change in aft pools is only affecting Conquest class ships including Carnival Conquest, Carnival Glory, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Liberty and Carnival Valor. Other class ships including Carnival Splendor and Carnival Victory are also changing the aft pool policy. The ships included do have or will be having an adults only serenity area. this will be the only open deck area where kids won’t be allowed.

There has been a huge response ever since John Heald first mentioned these changes on April 7, 2017. Carnival has stated that moving forward they will evaluate the aft pools policy but with such a big response it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

We would love to know your thoughts on this, feel free to post a comment below.
